義大利劇作家。1997年諾貝爾文學獎得主。生於 1926 年義大利靠近瑞士的 San Giano。他的父親是鐵路工人；母親是個鄉村婦女。

　　達利歐•弗擅長於摩模仿中世紀的小丑，以說笑的方式批評政府當局，為受壓迫的百姓伸張正義。 達利歐•弗的著名劇本包括：

* Morte accidentale di un anarchico (1970, Accidental Death of an Anarchist)

* Non si paga, non si paga (1974, Can't Pay, Won't Pay)

* Female Parts (1981)

 

　　達利歐•弗對於《一個無政府主義者的意外死亡》 ﹝MORTE ACCIDENTALE DI UN ANARCHICO﹞這個劇本，認為是一齣鬧劇形式的悲劇。他說：

"We do popular theatre. Popular theatre always used grotesque, farce - farce was invented by the people - to develop its more dramatic subjects. Because laugh remains deeply in our soul and nothing removes it. Because, laughing helps avoiding one of the major dangers, the catharsis... Since the VIII century, we always find dramatic stories in grotesque style. This in all our tradition. If we go back to the Greeks, even more. The Romans, the same ... We do not want indignation to be taken away from the people coming. We want anger to remain inside, not free and ready to act without hesitation as the time of fight arrives".
