The Laboratory for the Exploration of Virtual Theatre, LabEVT, is a place for any person who is willing to contribute his knowledge and enthusiasm to virtual theatre. Its goal is to explore the uses of virtual reality and related technologies. While the primary application currently under study is theatre production and performance, the possibility of exploring VR application in other fields is also being actively pursued.

國立台灣大學戲劇系虛擬劇場實驗室成立的目的，是為了探究虛擬實境在劇場上的實際應用與其相關的技術。除此之外，有關虛擬實境在其他領域的應用也是我們正在研究發展的範圍。
